Prostitution Terminology

Commercial	Another term referring to prostitution.
Crossdresser	Transvestite, a person, and especially a male, who adopts the dress and often the behavior typical of the opposite sex especially for purposes of emotional or sexual gratification.
Cruising	Looking for prostitutes while driving.
Date	A session with a prostitute.
Ellie	A term referring to law enforcement.
Five-0	A term referring to law enforcement
John	A pathetic loser who is the prostitute’s customer. Also known as a “trick” or a “hobbyist”.
Lot Lizard	A prostitute who frequents truck stops or other areas where truckers go.
Madam	A female scumbag who runs or manages a brothel; she also may “recruit” persons into prostitution work.
Monger	One who frequents prostitutes.
Nooner	A session which generally occurs during a lunch-break. Popular with married johns.
Pay For Play	Refers to the concept of paying for sex.
Pimp	A scumbag, usually a male, who promotes and/or profits from the sale and/or abuse of another person’s body or sexuality for sexual purposes.
Prostitute	A female (or male) who engages in the practice of prostitution, which is the providing of sexual services to another person in return for payment. Also known as hooker, streetwalker, woman of the evening/night, call girl, working girl, whore, escort, date, fallen woman, woman about town, and scarlet woman. Generally a casualty of drugs, mental illness, homelessness, or all of the above.
Runaway	A minor who leaves home or place of legal residence without the permission of parents or legal guardians for at least a 24-hour period of time.
Sting	A female police officer poses as a prostitute to apprehend unsuspecting johns, or a male police officer poses as a john to apprehend unsuspecting prostitutes.
Street Action	Prostitution that is solicited on public streets. Prostitutes (usually on foot) are picked up by Johns in motor vehicles. Sexual acts may occur in the vehicle, or at another agreed upon location.
Stroll	A footpath frequented by prostitutes.
Thrownaway	A child who has been kicked out or locked out of home and told not to return by dirtbag parents. Also refers to a runaway child who is not actively sought by parent(s) after the child has run away.
Trick	Two definitions: a sex act for money or a man who patronizes prostitutes.
